Os postos de combustíveis vendem diesel de diferentes qualidades e preços. Mas, o uso do combustível mais barato nem sempre compensa. Estávamos indo de
carro de Rothenburg ob der Tauber para Garmisch-Partenkirchen distando 300 Km e queríamos passar em Nordlingen, uma cidade dentro da cratera Ries, formada pela queda de um meteorito há 15 milhões de anos. Depois do almoço e passeio em Nordlingen seguimos viagem e chegamos em Garmisch-Partenkirchen no começo da noite. São cidades gêmeas localizadas às margens do riacho Partnacher, grande estação de esqui da Alemanha. Sediou os jogos Olímpicos de inverno de 1936.
A casa em Garmisch-Partenkirchen deixou as crianças pulando de alegria com uma caixa cheia de brinquedos que tinha na sala. A cozinha era completa com todas as peças e utensílios necessários. Os quartos eram amplos e a mobília de excelente qualidade.
Tinha uma churrasqueira no pátio externo, que nunca usamos por causa do frio. La fora se via um campo belíssimo com casinhas espalhadas e no fundo, as montanhas nevadas dos Alpes alemães, destacando-se o Zugspitze. De longe se via um trem vermelho transitando de hora em hora no fundo do nosso quintal.
Fomos num centro comercial próximo, compramos produtos para lanche, café da manhã e jantar. As embalagens nos supermercados são caríssimas e eu sempre me esquecia disso, só me lembrava na hora de pagar uma fortuna pelos sacos de plástico para uma senhora de ar carrancudo e de grande destreza no caixa. O vasilhame da cerveja a gente paga e eles devolvem o dinheiro com o retorno. O alemão valoriza profundamente a classificação, seleção e destinação dos resíduos. A seção de frutas e legumes está sempre na frente do supermercado, as frutas dispostas nas prateleiras num desenho colorido que nos impressiona pela organizada precisão.
Noutro dia fomos ao Zugspitze, montanha nos Alpes mais alta da Alemanha, 2.964 metros, eles recebem muitos turistas internacionais endinheirados. Não subimos no teleférico pois o frio nos desanimou, passamos o dia em Garmisch, cidadezinha opulenta de 30 mil habitantes. Passeamos sem pressa e sem compromissos com locais e horários, parando aqui e ali para tomar o chocolate quente no centro de Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Utilizamos a casa de Garmisch-Partenkirchen como base, vários subgrupos fizeram seus passeios turísticos de interesse. Um dia, um subgrupo foi para Munique, onde tem a sede da BMW, em viagem de 1 hora de carro. Outro subgrupo foi para a cidade de Füssen onde abriga o famoso castelo Neuschwanstein. Construído pelo rei Ludwig em 1886, o palácio serviu de inspiração para o castelo da Cinderela dos desenhos de Walt Disney.
No dia seguinte foi a minha vez de ir para Munique de carro, e conheci a HB HOFBRAUHAUS. Ressalte-se que Munique é o principal polo produtor de cervejas do mundo. As mesas da cervejaria são para umas 10 pessoas, cada mesa tem um padrinho, um dono. Tem gente do mundo todo, é um local extremamente alegre, interativo, cada dia você conhece gente diferente em momentos de festas e descontração.
No ultimo dia em Garmisch fizemos uma viagem novamente para Munique. Pegamos o trem das 9:16 hs e foi para mim a mais espetacular viagem que fiz no interior da Alemanha, 1 hora no confortável trem. Viajando e apreciando aquelas paisagens na neve, casinhas coloridas de estilo alemão, plantios bem alinhados, linhas de transmissão a energia solar, eólica e moinhos.
